Laptop use and return agreement

At Maestro, our goal is to give you the tools you need to succeed. That’s why, now that you’ve successfully completed your first term, you receive a laptop as part of your Maestro Pro Scholarship — not just as a tool, but as support in your learning journey. It’s here to help you stay focused, connected, and moving forward toward your goals.

When you successfully complete your program, you’ll get to keep the laptop as your own.

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that:

- The laptop is for your academic use only while you are an active student at Maestro.
- You are responsible for keeping it in good condition.
- You must return it if your enrollment or scholarship ends before completing your program.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Part of your scholarship

This laptop comes to you as a benefit of your Maestro Pro Scholarship, alongside full tuition coverage. It represents our commitment to your success.

Maintaining access to the laptop during your studies depends on keeping your scholarship active and meeting the scholarship requirements, including attendance and satisfactory academic progress (SAP), as outlined in the Student Information Center.

2. Use during your studies

The laptop is for your academic use throughout your time at Maestro.

It is intended to support your coursework and participation in the program and should not be used in a way that conflicts with Maestro’s policies.

3. Delivery

- Eligibility to receive a laptop begins only after signing this agreement.

- Once this agreement is signed, the laptop will be shipped within 14 business days.
- You'll receive tracking information via email directly from the shipping carrier.
4. Care and responsibility

Your laptop is yours to care for.

It comes with Apple’s one-year limited warranty for manufacturer defects and is managed using a device management system for security and technical support.
- Damage, loss, or theft outside of that warranty are your responsibility.
- Maestro cannot provide replacements or temporary devices.
5. If you withdraw or lose scholarship eligibility

This laptop is part of your Maestro Pro Scholarship and is provided to support your learning during the program. If you withdraw or lose eligibility for the scholarship before completing the program, the laptop must be returned.

- Maestro will provide instructions and a prepaid return label or pickup option.

- You will need to return the laptop within 5 days of receiving the return label.

- The laptop must be returned in good condition, with all accessories.

If the laptop is not returned as required, we reserve the right to remotely lock the device using the device management system. In addition, if the device is not recovered, you may be required to cover the cost of the laptop. This helps us provide a laptop to another student we want to support.

6. No substitutes

This scholarship benefit is a single device. We don’t provide additional laptops or accessories.

7. Yours to keep

When you successfully complete your program, the laptop is yours — permanently. It’s not just a device; it’s a symbol of your hard work and dedication.
